50's Diner new branch along Military Cut-off Road |
We decided to visit their new branch along Military Cut-off Road which they say is a bit bigger than the Main Branch along Upper Gen. Luna Road. We arrived a little late so we had to wait a bit for a table since the place was packed with diners.
As soon as we were seated, T decided to order their Chicken Cordon Bleu. It is basically a Breaded Chicken Fillet stuffed with Ham and Cheese served with Rice and Steamed Vegetables.

I ordered the Chop and Chop which is 2 pieces of Grilled Pork Chops with Rice and Steamed Veggies composed of diced carrots, beans and corn. The pork chops were a bit bland but I was so hungry from the commute that I finished these bad boys in a jiffy.

Bop, our travel buddy ordered their Guys on the Hood plate which is a combination of Grilled Pork Chop, Fried Chicken, Spaghetti,Small Pizza with Rice and Steamed Veggies.

Overall, the food was alright, nothing out of the ordinary, but the price was really affordable which makes it a good value for your money. The staff was also efficient as they were able to turn tables around in just a few minutes despite the place being packed with diners. This place really gets full during lunch and dinner so it is best to come early to avoid the crowd.
You can check out their menu from this page.
