After our dinner at
50's Diner last night, T and I decided to visit
Cafe by the Ruins in downtown Baguio for breakfast. The place sits inside the remnants of an old theater destroyed during World War II and was converted into a cafe in the late 80's. It is located in the middle of the city but the place still has that old world charm and laid-back atmosphere which was really nice.
T wanted me to try out their breads and pastries but being the carnivore that I am, I opted for
Tita Susie's Crispy Tapa. The beef tapa is shredded and then deep-fried resulting to a crispy tasty treat reminiscent of Adobo Flakes.
