T and I had the chance to be among the first to dine in the newly opened Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant last week in MOA and we both had an awesome experience. Aside from meeting fellow food bloggers for the first time, we were also able to sample Watami's amazing signature dishes and it was indeed a lunch that we will always remember.

A Japanese Ramen Cart in the streets of Malate
While walking around Malate last Saturday, T and I spotted a couple of Japanese tourists eating at the side of the road in what looks like a Japaneses Ramen Cart reminiscent of the ones found in the side streets of Japan. I got curious and checked out what the cart is serving. And yes! It was RAMEN indeed!

The Best Palabok in Sta.Ana Market
T's all time favorite Palabok joint inside Sta. Ana Market is Baby's Palabok. It is hidden at the end portion of the market and is the last stall from the row of Palabok vendors that line the place. Although Beth's Palabok is the most famous among the bunch, T and her sisters swear that Baby's Palabok is the BEST.
Discovering Beth's Palabok
T always tells me that we should visit her favorite Palabok spot in Sta. Ana, Manila where she grew up, ever since I brought her to Palabokan sa Obrero last month. And since we'll be visiting a friend who lives in Paco last Saturday, we decided to swing by Sta.Ana Market where her favorite Palabok is located.

X marks the spot at Ramen X
T and I went to Trinoma last Sunday to watch Skyfall, the latest and probably the best James Bond film to be released since Goldfinger. And since we still have more than an hour to spare before the screening, we decided to have a quick dinner at Ramen X. A Japanese casual dining restaurant that specializes in (and yes, you guessed it) Ramen.

Break Time at Dimsum Break
Last October 29th marked the first month of The Drunken Pig food blog and T and I decided to celebrate it by visiting the recently opened Dimsum Break branch here in Manila. I have been meaning to try this place out ever since one of my food blogging idols, The Pickiest Eater in the World, wrote about it over a month ago.
