Awesome Submarine Sandwiches at Hoagies

T and I were invited along with fellow food bloggers to visit Hoagies at SM North Annex a few weeks ago to try out their amazing offerings and we were both blown-away by their mouthwatering submarine sandwiches.

Hoagie is a term originated from Philadelphia which refers to a long crusty Italian bread roll  generously stuffed with variety of meats, cheeses, vegetables and sauces.  Here at Hoagies in SM North Annex, they do offer a wide variety of hoagies to choose from. You can even personalize your sandwich as you have the option to choose which dressing and veggies.

And it is also really nice that they prepare your hoagie upon order and you can definitely see that they only use the freshest ingredients in each sandwich as you watch them assemble your order with speed and precision.

The ambiance in their store is relaxed and very casual which T and I love. We picked out a few items on the menu and while waiting for our orders, we munched on these tasty Farmer John Premium Potato Chips and they're surprisingly good.

First to arrive at our table was the delicious Zesty Pastrami (P155) which is composed of premium peppered pastrami with our choice of  mustard dressing and veggie garnish of shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cucumbers.

The blend of flavors on this hoagie is amazing! The highly-seasoned and piquant pastrami and fresh veggie combination along with the zesty mustard dressing was really good.

Up next was the all time favorite B.L.T (P120) which is Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato in a bed of shredded lettuce and creamy mayo dressing.

T said this hoagie was incredible and I totally agree.  The saltiness of the top quality bacon really blends well with the fresh greens. While the mayo dressing was very yummy and was able to tie all the flavors together. Nice!

Next was The Rebound (P160) which is composed of 4 whopping meatballs in a delectable marinara sauce with slices of cheese.  The meatballs were well-seasoned and the marinara sauce was tangy and full-flavored.

Philly's Fine Cheesesteak (P190) was next and this one is definitely one awesome hoagie.  It was loaded with their signature beef strips sauteed in onions and bell peppers and smothered with rich cheese sauce.

The beef strips was excellent and the onions and bell peppers provided the right crunch.  The taste and texture of this dish was simply superb.  I will definitely order this again on my next visit.

Up next was the wholesome Classic Crab (P140) composed of shredded crabsticks in a bed of lettuce and cucumbers with Japanese mayo.  This hoagie was really fresh-tasting and really light with a hint of sweetness from the shredded crabsticks.

Last and my personal favorite was their Chori Special (P130) which is their version of the famous Filipino Chori Burger.

The meat was full-flavored and well-seasoned that I became an instant fan.  The mayo dressing also lends a rich and creamy texture to the hoagie that I really loved.  This is definitely a must-try when you visit Hoagies.

Overall, all their hoagies exceeded our expectations.  All ingredients were fresh and top-notch that T and I agreed that Hoagies is one of the best sandwich places here in the metro.

Everything was delicious and well-prepared that we were surprised that they offer these incredible submarine sandwiches at such an affordable prices.  GOOD DEAL!

They even have an introductory price promo of P88 for some items on their menu which is really cool! So when you're craving for a good submarine sandwich, head out to Hoagies and try their superb hoagie offerings!
